My pen has covered a lot of ground — from failed justice in small-town Arkansas to new frontiers in the Gulf Coast seafood industry. The stories I most like to write, however, always seem to involve food — as sustenance, as metaphor and as common ground. These days, I write a lot about how technology, climate change and population growth are changing the way we produce and consume food. My Day job
I daylight as director of content strategy for Ideaworks, a boutique marketing firm focused on the technology and travel industries. In my work, I partner with brands of strong vision and shared values, helping them tune into their purpose, forge more meaningful connections with consumers and reach their business goals. I have a special interest in the AgTech, FoodTech and entomophagy industries. (Entomophagy = Eating Bugs.)
